Milan, February 14, 2012 – The excellence of Made in Italy achieves a new accomplishment and finds an innovative expression in the partnership agreement for the next three years signed between Consorzio Franciacorta and Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana
Franciacorta has been chosen as product of excellence for the official toasts on the occasion of the forthcoming Fashion Weeks in Milan, as from Milano Moda Donna on, scheduled from February 22 to 28, 2012.
Franciacorta is the first Italian wine produced exclusively by the classic method of re-fermentation in the bottle, and what's more it is the first wine to obtain the most significant oenological status of DOCG (Denominazione di Origine Controllata e Garantita). In only a matter of a bit more than 50 years, the Franciacorta producers’ passion and commitment have created a wine of the highest quality, a real reason for Italy to be proud. Franciacorta is not merely a wine, but what’s more a terroir to discover, rich of extraordinary cultural and natural treasures, at only one hour’s drive from the capital of the Italian Fashion.
“Becoming partner of the Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana is a great reason of pride for Consortium Franciacorta and its 106 wine cellars, and what’s more it represents a good opportunity to reinforce even more our common values and distinctiveness” said Maurizio Zanella, President of the Consorzio Franciacorta. “The Franciacorta sparkling wine, in fact, shares with the Italian fashion brands creativity and craftsmanship, top qualities that provide our products with uniqueness, elegance, and excellence: the distinctive ingredients of Made in Italy in the world”.
During the fashion shows of next week, Franciacorta will therefore follow the guests of the Camera della Moda in their get-togethers, and will welcome them in the VIP Lounge of Palazzo dei Giureconsulti for a special wine tasting of its assortment: Brut, Satèn, Rosé, Millesimati, and Riserve.
“I am really happy about the partnership of such an outstanding Italian company with Camera della Moda, confirming the strength of the alliance between the renowned three “F's"– Fashion, Food and Furniture”, the true jewel of our Made in Italy worldwide”, says Mario Boselli, President of Camera Nazionale della Moda Italiana.
