Franciacorta stage at Giro d'Italia
The 2018 Giro d’Italia will have a Franciacorta stage.
The tour will pass on May 23rd though the municipalities of Ome, Rodengo Saiano, Paderno Franciacorta, Bornato, Cazzago S. M., Erbusco, Corte Franca, Iseo, Provaglio d’Iseo, Monticelli Brusati, Passirano, Corte Franca and will then finish in Iseo, on the lake front.
The Giro d'Italia is one of the most important multiple-stage bicycle race in the world. The first race was organized in 1909 and since then has been held annually, except when it was stopped for the two world wars.
This edition for the first time ever will start outside of Europe. From May 4th Israel will in fact host the first three stages, beginning with an Individual Time Trial in Jerusalem.
