The winery Conti Bettoni Cazzago originates from the union of two ancient and noble families of Brescia: Bettoni and Cazzago. These families, symbol of the high Italian aristocracy, came from a little land of the Garda’s lake, Bogliaco di Gragnano and from Cazzago San Martino.
In the middle of the famous Italian area where it produces wine, Franciacorta, and especially on the top of the hill, Santa Giulia, there is the magnificent mansion house and main office of the factory which is called Palazzo Cazzago.
.The vineyard works up for 15 ha over the hills of the Iseo’s lake. Part of this, especially 3,6 ha, is surrounded by walls which dates up the year one thousand. This vineyard, which is called “Brolo”, has been reimplanted in 2009 to obtain cuvée of high quality.
Bettoni Cazzago, winemakers from 1701 and producers of wine from 1600, started a new plan which creates the actual belongings property of Franciacorta. The expert agronomist count Vincenzo Bettoni, gets the production of wines off the ground. The count avails himself of high quality grapes: Chardonnay and Pinot.
The introduction of the brand Conti Bettoni Cazzago in the market obtained great results and also today it continues thanks to the care of the family and to the new business management that lead the factory.
